Ajia Unveils Manifesto for Asa/ILORIN West Federal Constituency

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Alhaji Muhammed Ajia Ibrahim on Wednesday unveiled his manifesto, tagged “Offer to Serve”,  in Ilorin.

The document presented as a booklet, contains the fundamental programmes and projects that Alhaji Ajia would embark on when elected into office.

In an address at the occasion, the PDP Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency Candidate said his vision for people is a safe, secure and prosperous constituency.

I have demonstrated my commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of our people by the little intervention we have been making through the MAI foundation. By the grace of God and your support, I will be elected as the Member of the House of Representatives from Asa/Ilorin West Constituency come 25th February, 2023. I pledge to utilize that position to mobilize necessary resources, partnership and connection to improve the lives of our people.”

He promised to attract Federal Government presence to his constituency, embark on youth empowerment projects and provide effective representation at the National Assembly.

Alhaji Ajia who recounted his childhood experience, said his struggle to attain greater heights has exposed him to the difficulties of life and he is ready to make life easier for people of Ilorin-West/Asa Federal Constituency if given the opportunity to serve.

The PDP Candidate for Ilorin-West/Asa Federal Constituency said he was ready to deliver on his promises and challenged people to hold him accountable for his words when elected.

“Politicians always speak and make promises. And people have heard so many political promises in the past but not fulfilled. However, I want to crave your indulgence to take note of my words. I will like you to take note of everything I have said here today and to hold me accountable.”

Earlier, Kwara State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Babatunde Muhammed described Alhaji Ajia as a man of integrity, who is courageous, competent and has the capacity to give quality representation.

Alhaji Muhammed therefore urged people of Asa/ Ilorin West Constituency to come out en masse on February 25th and vote for Alhaji Muhammed Ajia to represent them at the House of Representatives.

There were goodwill messages from religious groups, trade unions as well as friends and associates of the candidate.

Highpoint of the event was the donation of 50million naira by well-wishers of the Candidate in support of his campaign.
