APC Clears 9 National Assembly Seats in Kwara
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared all nine National Assembly seats in Kwara State during February 25 elections.
According to feelers from results collated by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) across the 16 local government areas, APC won the three Senatorial and six House of Representatives seats in the state.
The APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu also won the North Central State with wide margin.
Senators Oyelola Ashiru and Sadiq Umar were returned as representatives of Kwara South and Kwara North respectively.
Mallam Saliu Mustapha won in Kwara Central by defeating Bolaji Abdullahi of PDP across the four local government areas in the Senatorial district.
The ruling party defeated PDP, SDP, NNPP and others who challenge their candidates during the National Assembly elections.
