The All Progressives Congress (APC) said the party is yet to release official results for Chairmanship and Councillorship primary election in Kwara State.

The Chairman, Kwara APC Electoral Committee, Alhaji Abdullahi Samari disclosed this in a statement made available to FactualTimes on Wednesday.

Recall that the ruling party on Tuesday conducted primary election to select Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates ahead of September 21 local government elections.

According to him, the primaries for the election of the candidates of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) for Councillorship and Chairmanship in the Local Government elections took place yesterday in the 193 wards and 16 local governments of the State.

“No result has been announced yet; our members and the general public should therefore, disregard results circulating in the social media. The authentic results will be announced officially by the party.”
