APC Primaries: Abioye Heads To Appeal Court

The winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election in Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon Tajudeen Abioye has filed appeal to defend his nomination.

Abioye on Friday October 7, 2022 submitted 10 grounds appeal at Appeal Court Ilorin.

The case filed by his counsel, Jimoh Jawando SAN and others ask the Appeal Court to set aside judgement of Federal High Court recognizing Ismail Tijani as APC candidate for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.

Abioye insisted that he won the May Primary election conducted by APC Primary election Committee and  monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Respondents in the case are Ismail Tijani, All Progressives Congress and Independent National Electoral Commission.
