APC Youths Decamp To PDP in Kwara

Some youths from the ruling All Progressive Congress have decamped to the People’s Democratic Party in Patigi local government Area of Kwara state on Monday

The youths, some of whom were hitherto members of PDP but joined the  All Progressives Congress, in the build-up of the 2019 elections, cited the failure of the party to cede the gubernatorial ticket to Kwara North senatorial district despite promises that dated three decades and expectation that APC will make perform better, as reasons for joining in protest votes that ousted PDP in the state.

The youths led by Mr. Musa Bologi joined the party during a reconciliatory meeting with the Baraje-led Kwara PDP Reconciliation and Engagement Committee visit to Patigi.

The decampees affirmed their total loyalty to leadership of the party in the state and expressed commitment to support PDP in the future elections.
