Dethroned Emir Aminu Ado Bayero Wins in Court
The Federal high court has granted prayers of Dethroned Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero on the issue of breach of the fundamental human rights.
The court on Friday ordered the Kano State government to provide compensation of N10 million to Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero for breaching his essential rights to personal freedom and freedom of movement.
The court has also mandated that the security forces avoid arresting, detaining, threatening, intimidating, harassing, or otherwise disrupting Aminu Ado Bayero in the future.
