The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Justin Okonoboh, has been impeached.
Honourable Okonoboh was impeached by lawmakers at the Assembly on Monday in Benin City.
Meanwhile, the members elected Hon. Kabiru Ajoto as the new Speaker.
The new speaker has been representing Akoko Edo 1 constituency from 2011 in the state house of Assembly.
