Eyitayo Jegede Dumps PDP

Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Jegede announced his resignation via a letter dated August 7, 2026 and addressed to PDP Ward Chairman in Owode/Imaugun Ward, Akure South local government, Ondo State.

The former State Attorney General contested for Ondo state Governorship election  in 2016 and 2020.

FactualTimes gathered that Jegede may head to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to support Presidential bid of Atiku Abubakar.
