Funsho Mutiu Aremu Advocates For Youth Involvement in Community Development

A Community Development Advocate, Funsho Mutiu Aremu has charged youth to play active role in community development and nation building.

Funsho Mutiu Aremu disclosed at seminar organized by Ekiti local government youth with theme “Intergrating youth into community development: implications for policy planning and program evaluation.”

The Community Development Advocate advised the youth to use their skills, knowledge and network to proffer solution to identified problems in the society.

Aremu said government alone cannot tackle multifaceted challenges in various communities and therefore implored the youth to contribute to planning and policy formulation.

”The story of the event is on how youth can contribute to the planning and be among policy in any community they find themselves. They must also shy away from drug abuse and other social vices in order for them to be a role model to the next generation”. He explained.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of award to Funsho Mutiu Aremu for his community towards community development in Ekiti local government and kwara state in general.
