Future of Offa Development Depends On Active Political Participation- Senator Ashiru

The Senator representing Kwara South, Arch. Oyelola Ashiru has stated that future of Offa town development depends on active political participation.
Senator Oyelola Ashiru disclosed this on Saturday while speaking at Economic Summit powered by Offa Club 80 held in ODU Hall, Offa.
The Senator said active participation of Offa indigenes in politics would determine the level of infrastructural and economic development to be attracted to the ancient town.
”I will advice our people to play active role in politics. We should avoid politics of bitterness because development of our town depends on active political participation. Imagine Offa without Federal Polytechnic!
”Our people must be at the helms of affairs in the state and country for them to attract meaningful development here (Offa).” He explained.
He also called for collaboration among different groups in the town to revive moribund companies.
”We also need to repackage our cultural heritage such as Ijakadi to attract sponsors and tourists. Offa will be great again! It’s our collective responsibility to make it great.” Arch Ashiru concluded
