Gombe 2023: PDP Fixes September 29 for Reschedule Primaries

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed September 29, 2026 for rescheduled primary election for Gombe 2027 governorship election.

This follows the nullification of nomination of Prof Isa Pantami as PDP Governorship Candidate by the Federal High Court, Gombe on Thursday. The Court ruled that the Party did not comply with 2026 Electoral Act..

FactualTimes reports the Party’s National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu on Friday forwarded letter to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the rescheduled primary election.

Prof Isa Pantami is expected to be the sole Aspirant for PDP primary election for Gombe 2023.
