Gombe 2027: Pantami Wins Rerun Primaries

Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami has been declared winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary rerun for Gombe 2027 governorship election.

Prof Pantami polled 2,054 votes from primary election conducted on Tuesday across wards in Gombe State.

FactualTimes reports that 2,555 Party members were accredited and Pantami’s main challenger, Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki polled 389votes while Usman Garry had 112 votes.

Recall that the Federal High Court on September 24 voided the earlier process that had produced Pantami and ordered a fresh primary.

Mailantarki and Garry challenged outcome of May 2026 primary election for Gombe 2027.
