Gombe Governor Constitutes Committee To Recover Government Properties Disposed By Dankwanbo Administration

Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Inuwa Yahya has constituted a seven-man committee to recover some state government properties improperly disposed by immediately past administration.

A statement issued on Sunday by Senior Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the governor, Ismaila Uba Misilli said the committee will be chaired by Air Commodore Peter Bilal (Retd) while Barr. Obel Yaji is the secretary.

According to the statement, Police, DSS and Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps will present one representative each for the committee.

Misilli noted that the committee will review activities that led to disposal of the properties on March 10, 2019 (a day after governorship election) by Ibrahim Dankwanbo led administration.

The appointment takes effect from June 3.
