I Will Continue Circular Road Construction – APM Guber Candidate, Adekanmbi

The Allied People’s Movement governorship candidate in Oyo State, Bimbo Adekanmbi, has promised to complete ongoing Ibadan Circular Road project, adding that it was necessary for the development of the area.

Adekanmbi made this known while speaking with journalists at Thames Hotel, Jericho, Ibadan on Thursday.

Adekanmbi revealed he had a parcel of land in the Ona-Ara area which was affected by the road construction, adding that no sacrifice was too much for the development of the state.

Recall that Oyo state government commenced the demolition of several structures in March 2024 as part of the ongoing Circular Road project.

The APM Governorship Candidate said the project was necessary for the development of the state and pledged to continue it if elected governor.

His words: “Circular Road is a good concept. I am also a victim. I have land in Ona-Ara which has been affected. To build a society, you have to create access to the society to make it successful.

“When I become governor, I will continue the construction of the Circular Road and fix the areas where there are issues. We have to make sacrifices for the development of our state.”
