I’ll Set Kwara Central In Irreversible Path of Progress, Oloriegbe Assures Constituents at Eid

The Senator representing Kwara Central, Dr Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe has pledged to place his constituency in the irreversible path of progress.

Senator Oloriegbe gave this assurance in a message to felicitate with Muslim Ummah across the nation particularly the people of his constituency as they join fellow faithful in the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

The Lawmaker also reiterated his commitment to representation that will set Kwara Central Senatorial District on the irreversible path of progress and foster the economic prosperity of the state.

The Senator however urged constituents to imbibe the virtues exemplified by the prophet which bordered on love, tenderness, tolerance, selfless service to God and humanity and dedication to virtuous conducts.

According to him “I congratulate Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Sallah celebration. We must reflect on the essence of the season which espouses unity, harmonious coexistence, tolerance and sacrifice.

“To be faithful in our celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, we must commit ourselves to values that place a high premium on human life and eschew tendencies that are capable of jeopardizing the stability and tranquillity in the state.”

He added that they should adhere to the teachings of the Prophet Ibrahim (ASW) by demonstrating obedience to the Will of Allah and showing love and tenderness to one another.

While praying for a happy Sallah celebration, Oloriegbe called for strict adherence COVID-19 protocols as the pandemic is still much with us.
