Ilorin Emirate Stakeholders Back Yahaya Seriki Amidst Battle for APC Guber Ticket 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders under the aegis of Kwara Central Advancement Stakeholders Forum on Wednesday announced Amb Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari as their preferred choice for the Party governorship ticket.

The Group comprising APC members from Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, and Ilorin South Local Government Areas, in a statement  signed by their Secretary, Arc Lamido Akanbi implored the ruling party to pick Yahaya Seriki due to his track records and community impacts.

We have assessed all aspirants and carefully reviewed their track records with respect to the socio-economic and political advancement of Kwara Central and Kwara State at large, as vigorously pursued and largely achieved by His Excellency, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, over the years.

We therefore call on all Kwarans to join hands with us towards the emergence of one of our illustrious sons, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial flagbearer in the forthcoming 2027 general election.

We cannot conclude this press conference without calling on all Nigerians to support the re-election of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
