I’m fighting Fubara To safeguard my support base, says Wike
The FCT Minister and former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said he is battling Governor Sim Fubara to safeguard political support base.
Wike disclosed this on Tuesday while addressing South-South leaders.
Wike emphasized the pivotal nature of safeguarding his support base for sustaining his political standing.
Highlighting the significance of this stronghold, he pointed out that losing his base equates to losing political relevance, stressing, “If you take my base, am I not politically irrelevant?”
Wike remained resolute, expressing that irrespective of attempts to tarnish his image, his commitment to ethical conduct in politics would not waver. He underscored the necessity for adhering to principled actions, stating, “The right thing must be done.”
