Iwo Bubbles As Oba Akanbi Distributes Money To Aged

 

Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi on Thursday marked the new Islamic year by visiting the poor and the aged, distributing money to aid their livelihood.

Oba Akanbi who recently organized Fidau prayer for his late mother said the money distributed was to appreciate the aged and extend his traditional institution to the aged and the poor.

Oluwo stated extending peace and love are instruments to having a better society, noting the money was to extend my little help to aged fathers and mothers.

Further reiterated through a statement by Oluwo’s media aid, Alli Ibraheem, reads ” the compound by compound visit to the aged and poor was to reinstate my unflinching administrative sense of belonging. My palace is opened for all and sundry, irrespective of social, religious and political affiliation. Occassionally, I move the palace to the aged who have less strength to walk to the Palace. Aside prayer, I give them money. I lift their spirit and restore their hope. That is how God taught me to be doing and I will continue to improve on the quality of service to my people”.

“I went round the town today, to give my subjects,poor and rich some royal hugs, empower, motivate and inspire them all. I gave them some cash gifts with words of hope that, there is light at the end of the tunnel “
