The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Bayelsa 2023 governorship election, Douye Diri has won his reelection.
Governor Diri, the preferred candidate of former President Goodluck Jonathan defeated his main challenger, Timipre Sylva of All Progressives Congress during Saturday’s election.
Jonathan had on Thursday endorsed Diri of PDP as his choice for Bayelsa 2023.
