Kogi 2023: Bello, Onoja Task Party Faithful To Intensity Campaign for Ododo

Governor Yahaya Bello on Thursday convened a crucial meeting with the party’s stakeholders, Chieftains, supporters, and government officials at the Glass House in Government House ahead Kogi 2023 governorship election.

In recognizing and appreciating the unwavering efforts of these stakeholders in the campaign thus far, Governor Bello called on the stakeholders to sustain the momentum.

He charged them to maintain the current campaign momentum to secure a decisive victory for the APC candidate, Ododo Ahmed Usman in November 11 poll.

The Governor also underscored the potential actions of the opposition, who, sensing imminent defeat, are resorting to instigating violence.

He urged party members to remain vigilant and not fall into any traps set by the opposition. Instead, he encouraged party faithful to sustain their peaceful campaigns and focus on issues that matter to the electorate.

During the gathering, Governor Bello revealed that the state government would soon embark on another phase of palliative distribution, reaching every polling unit within the 21 Local Government Areas.

He emphasized that this distribution would be conducted without any bias toward political or religious affiliations.

The deputy governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja urged members of the party to intensify campaign across the 3,508 polling units in the state for the success of the party on November 11.

Furthermore, present at the event were former members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Sumaila Innsh Soul Lover and Hon. Emmanuel Egwu. Both of them had previously represented Idah Federal Constituency under the PDP. In addition, attendees included Hon. Erik Fiki, Barrister Fagbola, and several others who had recently made the transition from the PDP to the APC.
