Kwara 2019: AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Still in The Race

Oyewale Oyelola, Ilorin

The APC governorship candidate in Kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq has affirmed that he is still in the governorship race.

The APC governorship candidate in a statement issued on Saturday by Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq Campaign Organisation said he did not pull out of Kwara Governorship Race and urges electorates to ignore contrary reports.

The statement read:

Beginning from yesterday and even till the early hours of today, Kwarans received text messages that the APC gubernatorial candidate has pulled out from the race. This is laughable and shows wanton desperation on the Part of the ruling Kwara PDP in a bid to cling to power at all cost.

We won’t have responded to this because we know Kwarans can’t be cowed by misinformations like this. But we just want to set the record straight so that the general public won’t be fooled by their schemes.

Alh. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is in the race and will never betray the trust of Kwarans by backing out of the race.

Kwarans should ignore the FAKE NEWS from the sinking dynasty of Saraki and their attempts to cause confusion.

Kwara is APC and we are ready to usher in fresh ideas to move the state forward.

We plead with all our supporters to remain resolute and troop out en masse to vote Alh. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as the governor of Kwara state and all the APC House of Assembly candidates in today’s election.
