Kwara 2019: Peace Returns To Mustapha’s Family
Abdulazeez Kayode
The battle for the occupation of the Ahmadu Bello way government house between two brothers within the Mustapha’s family, Hon. Moshood Mustapha and Alh. Lukman Mustapha come 2019, has finally been laid to rest by their father, the Wali of Ilorin, Alhaji Usman Mustapha.
It was reliably gathered that during a family meeting that took place tonight at his Abdulrazaq Road, GRA Ilorin residence, Alhaji Usman Mustapha who had hitherto been quiet about the gubernatorial ambition of his two sons, has thrown his weight behind Hon. Moshood Mustapha’s gubernatorial ambition.
He therefore, urged his younger son, Alhaji Lukman Mustapha to drop his ambition and support his elder brother’s gubernatorial ambition, not only for the sake of the family alone but for the interest of Kwarans who are yearning for genuine change come 2019.
Speaking during the meeting, the Wali of Ilorin urged every member of the Mustapha’s family both at home and abroad to come together as a united front and make Hon. Moshood Mustapha’s gubernatorial ambition a huge success.
With this new twist in Kwara political landscape, it’s glaring that the 2019 gubernatorial election will be an interesting spectacle to behold.
