The Director General National Orientation Agency, Mallam Lanre-Issa Onilu has urged all APC Governorship Aspirants to work together and support former Kwara APC Chairman, Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa ahead of the Party’s primary election for

Lanre-Issa Onilu in a statement issued on Thursday said, he stepped down for Bolarinwa because he deserves to be Kwara State Governor.

He noted that Bolarinwa served as Kwara APC Chairman during OTOGE revolution and delivered all Party’s Candidates during 2019 general elections made a lot of sacrifices for the party.

According to Onilu, As we approach the primaries, I urge all aspirants for the National and State Assemblies and their supporters to display understanding and offer unwavering commitment to the party. The journey to build on the successes of the Otoge Revolution has only just begun.

He commend the maturity demonstrated by each governorship aspirant throughout this process.

Bolarinwa has previously served as a Councillor, Local Government Chairman, House of Representatives Member and the Chairman Governing Board of the National Broadcasting Commission.

He hails from Agbeku in Ifelodun local government area. He holds Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations and Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism.
