Kwara 2027: Ilorin Emirate Youth Assembly Backs Yahaya Seriki

Ilorin Emirate Youth Assembly has endorsed Amb. Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki for Kwara 2027 Governorship race.

The Youth Assembly which is the umbrella body of the All Progressives Congress Youths across four local government areas in Kwara Central; Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin East, and Ilorin South made this call in a statement issued on Thursday by Coordinator, Hon. Ayuba Olomogbona
and Secretary, Hon. Lateef Oloyin

They described Yahaya Seriki as a loyal party man with community impacts and grassroots acceptability.

According to them, following a thorough assessment of all aspirants and a critical review of their track records, the Emirate Youth Assembly has evaluated their respective contributions to the socio-economic and political development of Kwara Central and Kwara State at large.

“This evaluation was guided by the standards of leadership and development initiatives exemplified by His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, whose administration has made notable strides over the years.” The Ilorin Emirate Youth Assembly added

“After extensive deliberations, the Ilorin Emirate Youth Assembly hereby calls on all Kwarans to unite and support the emergence of one of our distinguished sons, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki, as the gubernatorial flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.”

The Group expressed noted that the Kursi Investment CEO has done well in terms of leadership capacity , Youth employment, empowerment and inclusiveness.

Adding that Yahaya Seriki will continue developmental aspirations of Kwara State, when elected.

The Emirate Youth also implored Nigerians to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in order to ensure continuity in the ongoing national development agenda.
