Kwara YOWICAN Empowers Varsity 20 Students in Third Phase of Youth Empowerment Scheme
The Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Kwara State Chapter, held a memorable event to disburse funds for the third phase of its Youth Empowerment Scheme (YES).
In attendance were state executives, bloc leaders, and local government representatives, all gathered to support 20 beneficiaries from various institutions, including the University of Ilorin, KWASU, Kwara State Polytechnic, ABU Zaria, and Ado Ekiti University.
YOWICAN State Chairman, Evangelist Stephen Awoyale, highlighted that this financial support, funded by SEAP Nigeria Limited, is specifically intended to assist with tuition fees and should not be diverted to other uses.
Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude, recognizing the scheme as a major relief for their families amid economic challenges.
“We are committed to uplifting young people, helping them pursue education despite financial obstacles,” said Evangelist Awoyale. He expressed deep appreciation to SEAP Nigeria Limited for their unwavering support in making this initiative possible.
Through this scheme, YOWICAN Kwara State Chapter continues to fulfill its mission of empowering youth and building a resilient Christian community, investing in a future where young leaders are equipped to make a positive impact in society.
