Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, APC Governorship Candidate and incumbent deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat and the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda attended the Party’s campaign retreat for Lagos 2027 elections.
Obafemi Hamzat while addressing APC leaders and members of the PBAT-KOH Campaign Council at a retreat with the theme, Building an Effective Campaign for Electoral Success, said the party needs more than strong structures to win Lagos.
According to him, We need to win the confidence of the people. It will take unity, discipline and a willingness to listen to the concerns of our people at every level.
“As we prepare for the 2027 elections, our responsibility is to take our message into every community, engage residents meaningfully and show, through our actions, what our party stands for.” He added
“I believe the strength of any political movement lies in its people and the trust they place in it. That is why we must work together and ensure that our collective efforts reflect the hopes and aspirations of Lagosians.”
On Tinubu’s re-election, Hamzat said opposition candidates lack ideas to move the country forward and advised Nigeriana to reelect the President.
“Oppositions’ manifestos are just a bouquet of complaints and grievances; no new ideas beyond criticising our accomplishments.” He noted.
