Makinde Attends PDP Retreat, Says Healing Process Should Start

Oyo State Governor and Vice Chairman, Nigerian Governors Forum, Engr Seyi Makinde has called for true reconciliation and activation of healing process in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Makinde who is the outgoing PDP Governors Forum Chairman made this call at the retreat held in Bauchi.
According to him, we had issues prior to 2023 general elections but that the healing process should start now to unite the party.

He said the party must focus on the future and what unites them.
Makinde gave assurance that the 13 PDP Governors readiness to play a stabilising role in the party.

Meanwhile, the PDP governorship candidate in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye has implored Makinde to kick start the healing process by attending ongoing Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja.
Melaye said taking the bold step would send signal of unity to other aggrieved Party leaders.
The retreat was attended by former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and other elected officials on the platform of PDP.
