Minimum Wage: FCT Teachers Suspend 3-month Strike

The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) branch in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has called off the strike that began in March of this year.

The union has instructed all teachers in the FCT, who were on strike, to return to work on Wednesday.

This follows the agreement reached with Area Councils in Abuja to  set aside N16billion for payment of minimum wage.
