NACCIMA, ITF Launch Global Placement Programme for Skilled Young Nigerian Artisans

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has unveiled a strategic partnership with the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) to export skilled Nigerian artisans aged 35 and below to international markets as part of a new talent development initiative.

ITF Director-General Afiz Oluwatoyin Ogun announced the plan during a visit to trainees taking examinations at the Larne Shittu Motors training centre in Abuja. He said successful participants will receive government-recognised certifications and licenses to enhance their employability abroad.

Ogun explained that NACCIMA’s extensive international trade networks and participation in global fairs will be used to identify countries in need of specific skilled workers.

NACCIMA President Jani Ibrahim added that the organisation’s Global platform will coordinate the worldwide implementation of the programme, creating fresh employment opportunities for young Nigerian artisans.
