Oluwo Operating Mobile Palace, Moves Stool to Rehabilitate Federal Road

For about a week now, the stool of the ancient city of Iwo is cycling the nearly abandoned Iwo-Ibadan road.

Oluwo of Iwo, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, is a daily visitor to the route, committed in cash and energy to decimate the plight of passengers especially in this yuletide season.

The road, which is assessed to be a primary link and lubricator of bilateral economic interaction between Osun and Oyo States as for years, experienced neglect by the government. Recently, some sections of the route is almost condemned for trafficking, invited damage to locomotive machines and accident prone as many travellers are avoiding the road. Displeased by the outcry of traders who use the road daily, Oluwo, being a father to the nation moves his palace to address the moribund parts.

Unusual of his status, the workaholic Oluwo, with humility and in demonstration of an highly industrious spirit, is seen, with crown on his heads patching roads for the convenience of Nigerians, who he claimed, as a father to the nation, are all his children.

Since  last week, Oluwo, to ensure timely delivery of the road, contracted labourers to handle the gutter at Ejioku situated at Lagelu Government area of Oyo, very close to the boundary of Iwo and Ibadan.

The gesture is not knew in any form to Oba Akanbi. His monarchical conducts are tailored towards serving humanity. He is interested, not in amassing wealth but in providing succour to the masses and the general public.
