The Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi has scheduled September 9, 2017 to celebrate his golden jubilee birthday.
A statement made available to journalists by the Media Assistant to the traditional ruler, Alli Ibrahim on Tuesday said Birthday Committee under the IWO Board of Trustees (IBOT) fixed the date to honour their King.
The birthday celebration will hold at the premise of Reality Radiovision Service, Iwo -Ibadan express way, Iwo, Osun State.
The monarch disclosed the last time he celebrated his birthday was his secondary school days.
Oba Akanbi implored residents of IWO to cooperate with the birthday committee and sub committees to make the event a colourful outing. Other useful information for the success of the day shall be communicated.
