Omupo Constituency: PDP Candidate, Lawal Oko-ode Wins His Ward

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly for Omupo Constituency in Kwara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Abiodun Abdulrazak Lawal Oko-ode has won his ward.

Lawal Oko-ode polled Omupo ward by scoring 1148 votes to defeat All Progressives Congress Candidate in March 18 election, Alhaji AGF Salaudeen who had 945 votes.

The PDP candidate also defeated APC local government Chairman in Ifelodun, Abdullateef Abdulqudir at Oko-ode polling unit.

He polled 171 votes as against  45 votes for APC.

Our Correspondent reports that collation is still ongoing in other seven wards in Omupo Constituency as of the time of filing this report.
