Ondo 2024: Jegede Drums Support for Agboola

The Peoples Democratic Party stakeholders including Eyitayo Jegede on Thursday presented flag to Agboola Ajayi as party’s candidate for Ondo 2024 governorship election.

Leaders and Party members in the State trooped out in their numbers to witness the unveiling ceremony, which took place at State Party Secretariat in Akure.

Agboola  appreciated the leaders and Party men for the show of love demonstrated towards him, even as he announced his happiness and joy at the unity and show of solidarity that have become a common place in the Party of late.

Announcing that quite a large number of people are already preparing to join the Party, Ajayi said he is happy that the Party is now more united than ever and thus declared that ” we
are ready to liberate Ondo State people through PDP” .

While calling for the love and unity being witnessed in the Party to be sustained, Ajayi maintained the need for a deep rooted unity that will propel it to victory in November.

Also speaking at the occasion, former Deputy Gov of Ondo State, Amb Omolade Oluwateru said he is ready to lead the charge in the coming election, in the interest of the Ondo State masses that are going through hard times in Ondo State, insisting the grounded wheels of progress will once again be activated.

Speaking in unison, Olorogun Eddy Olafeso, Chief Eyitayo Jegede and Dr Tayo Dairo all expressed their solid determination to prosecute the campaign and election vigorously with a view to attain total victory.

Other notable party leaders present at the occasion include Barr John Ola Mafo, Chief Mrs Olubitan , Lady Funmilayo Olafunmiloye , all members of the State Working committes , Party leaders from across all the three senatorial districts.
