Ondo Govt Pays 60 percent increase on Subvention State-Owned Institutions

The Ondo State Government has paid 60 percent increase on monthly subventions to the four state-owned tertiary institutions in Ondo State.

The Chief Press Secretary to Ondo State Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan in a statement issued on Thursday reveals that the state government already paid balance for August 2026.

According to him, This payment marks the commencement of the implementation of the 60% increment on subventions to the institutions, aimed at meeting up with salary obligations and improving welfare.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa therefore appealed to the striking unions of the institutions to call off the strike and return to work in the interest of our students and the overall development of the state.
