PDP Wins 2023 Zamfara Guber Election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Dauda Lawal has been declared winner of 2023 Zamfara Governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Dauda Lawal defeated the incumbent Governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bello Matawalle.

Lawal emerged the governor-elect with a total of 377,726 votes while Matawalle  polled 311,976.
