Plateau South Bye-election: Senator Gyang Drums Support For Daika

SENATOR I. D. GYANG COMMENDS PDP FOR FREE AND FAIR PRIMARIES AS RT. HON. GEORGE EDWARD DAIKA EMERGES.

The successful and peaceful conduct of the PDP primary election for the Plateau South Senatorial bye election scheduled for October by INEC, which saw the emergence of Rt. Hon. George E. Daika is an opportunity for the PDP family, says Senator I. D. Gyang of Plateau North Senatorial District.

The exercise which was adjudged transparent, free and fair witnessed the display of culture and spirit of democracy which the PDP is known for.

With this outcome, Senator Gyang says the stage is now set for the PDP to regain the Senatorial slot at the October polls. All that is required is the cooperation and understanding of stakeholders to harness the increasing and growing support which the people at the grassroots have for the party.

Senator Gyang therefore urges all party faithful and stakeholders to collectively work for the victory of the candidate of the PDP, Rt Hon George Daika for Plateau to have a stronger representation in the Red chamber.
