Sanusi Reinstated As Emir of Kano

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been reinstated as Emir of Kano.

This follows the repel of Kano Emirate Law amended by former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje by the State House of Assembly. Recall that the former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor was dethroned in 2020 by Kwara State Government.

Leadership reports that Sanusi will return to Kano on Friday.
