Senator Ashiru Commences Drilling of Solar-powered Borehole in 18 Rural Communities

Senator Oyelola Ashiru has commenced solar-powered borehole drilling project in 18 rural communities within Kwara South senatorial district.

Senator Ashiru in a statement issued on Sunday said the borehole project will enhance water accessibility and quality of life in Kwara South

He said Engineers from Lower Niger River Basin have conducted site inspections, possession, geophysical surveys, and commenced drilling.

7. Araromi
8. Ora Aiyegbaju
9. Imode

11. Ijomu Oro

17. Dapson Area
18. Oritamerin

Major markets will also benefit, improving water supply and sanitation. This project aims to provide clean water affordably, elevating rural communities’ living standards.
