Senator Ashiru Meets Offa CAN Executive, Canvasses Support for AbdulRazaq, Assembly Candidates

The Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial district, Arch Oyelola Yisa Ashiru on Saturday met Offa Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) executive ahead March 11 Governorship and House of Assembly elections.

Senator Ashiru during the interactive session appreciated the Offa CAN Executive for their support during his reelection bid on February 25, 2023.

He also acknowledged massive support given to APC across Kwara South Senatorial district.

The Senator therefore urged them to vote en masse for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and two APC State House of Assembly candidates from Offa axis: Seun Ogunniyi of Ojomu/Balogun constituency and Hon Gbenga Yusuf of Essa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency who is seeking re-election.

In the course of the campaign, they met council of Baales from Igboidun in Offa Local Government to solicit for their support ahead of Saturday’s election.

The visit was attended by Offa TIC Chairman, Hon. Jare Olatundun, SSA on SDG, Hon. Toyin Ogunwole, Dr. Abdul Lanre Folorunsho, Alh. AbdulWaheed Babatunde, Hon Gbenga Adeniyi, amongst other party members.
