Speed up Completion of KWASU Osi Campus- Ekiti Youth

The Ekiti-Kwara Youth Navigators (EKYN) a community development organization has implored Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to speed up completion  of Kwara State University (KWSAU) Osi Campus.

EKYN Acting Secretary,  Ogundele Rapheal kehinde at Press briefing on Friday commended Governor Abdulrazaq for making attempt to complete the project initiated by Abdulfatai Ahmed administration.

Highlighting the importance of KWASU Osi Campus, he stated that when completed it will bring numerous benefits to Kwara South region.

According to them, the campus will serve as a hub of knowledge exchange, research, and development. It will also stimulate economic growth, attract investment, and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

“Furthermore, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and other important indirect taxes to State Government will be improved. The benefits will equally extend beyond the boundaries of the campus, uplifting the entire community and empowering the citizens to contribute to the progress of Kwara State. However, the slow pace of its completion has hindered the realization of this vision.” The group added.

Ekiti-Kwara Youth Navigators tasked AbdulRazaq administration to redouble their efforts to ensure the campus commence academic activities by September 2023.

Stakeholders in attendance include OSI Youth Council (OYC), Etan Development Association (EDA), Ajuba Youth Forum (AYF), Igbomina Youth Assembly (IYA), Kwara South Consultative Forum (KSCF), Ekiti/Oke Ero Youth and Kwara South Youth Development Organization (KWAORG).
