Traditional Rulers, Political Bigwigs Grace Fidau Prayer for Lawal Oko-ode’s Father

Traditional Rulers, Political Bigwigs, Friends and Associates during the weekend converged in Oko-ode, Ifelodun local government of Kwara State for Fidau Prayer of Alhaji Isah Lawal.

Alhaji Isah Lawal, the father of the Peoples Democratic Party Stalwart, Alhaji Abiodun Abdulrazak Lawal Oko-ode passed on in May 2024 at 87.

The entire Doyin family of Oko-ode therefore hosted the Fidau Prayer attended by friends and associates from across the country.

Associate Professor Sheikh Sikirullah Adenigba, delivered a sermon on the importance of living a virtuous life, as death is inevitable.

He praised Alhaji Isah’s legacy and encouraged his family to uphold his exemplary values.

Grand Mufti of Oko Ode, Prof Abdullateef Oladimeji, led special prayers for the deceased and the Oko Ode community.

Prof Oladimeji also held a session for Alh Razak Lawal and his siblings, and he expressed gratitude to the traditional rulers for their solidarity.*

The Chief Imam of Oko Ode on his part, appreciated all attendees who came from far and wide to pay their respects to late community developer.

Traditional Rulers at the event include Oba Muhammad Adebayo Buari Olomu of Omupoland, Olowu of Igbowu, Oba Abdulrasaq Abodunrin Oyedeola, Onikoko of Koko, Oba AbdulRahman Adio, Olodu of Oko-ode, Oba Saludeen Adeyemi Adeyanju, Oba Ope of Amuda, Oba Abdulkadir Lawal Titioloa II, Alatanda of Atanda, Oba Abdulwahab Abiodun Saheed Oyeyemi, Iyalode of Igbajaland,
Alhaja Sherifat Tijani.
