WEMA Bank To Partner Oyo On Agriculture, Health
…Supports Justice Ministry On Project Renovation
Oyo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Oyelowo Oyewo, has commended the management team of wema bank for partnering with the ministry in its quest to achieve its mandates .
Prof. Oyelowo, gave the commendation during the commissioning of the newly renovated mediation hall, ministry of Justice, Secretariat , Ibadan ,now conference Hall of the ministry .
The Commissioner, who described the gesture received from the financial institution on the renovation of the project as first of its kind , assured the team of proper maintenance of the project .
” We know that you have given us a good product that we are very proud of and I can tell you we will put it into good use and it will be a sustainable project “
” We are looking forward to do more things with you, on behalf of our team here, we say a big thank you “
In his remarks , the Chief Executive Officer , Wema Bank Plc, Mr. Ademola Adebisi, said the financial institution decided to support the present administration in Oyo State based on its laudable objectives and achievements so far .
Adebisi hinted that the partnership arrangements would provide opportunity for both parties to empower the youths of the state for them to contribute positively to the development of the State.
He added that the company was committed to supporting the State government to achieve greatly in her four cardinal sectors which includes agriculture , health , security and education .
Adebisi noted that his company would also work with the government in the area of innovations, digital , capacity building and make funds accessible to market women for smooth running of their businesses .
“For us , this partnership means a lots to us , we will always continue to be there, this will be the beginning of better things to come in terms of our partnership arrangements between wema bank and Oyo state “
” Discussions are already on with sports ministry and agric commissioner . Part of our objectives is to work with the first lady to see how to improve the capacity building and access to funding for market women “
Dignitaries at the commissioning includes the Executive adviser to Oyo state Governor on Agri Business, Dr. Debo Akande , Regional Executive , South West Region , Wema Bank Plc, Olaitan Sunday , Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice , Mr. Wasiu Gbadegesin amongst others .
