Wike Wins Again As Chinda Emerges Minority Leader

A protege of former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, Hon. Kingsley Chinda has emerged as the Minority Leader of the 10th House of Representatives.

The member representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency was selected on Friday during Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus meeting in Abuja on Friday.

FactualTimes gathered that Rivers State lawmaker clinched the Minority Leader slot due to influence of Nyesom Wike.

Our Correspondent reports that Hon Oluwole Oke from Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency who was his main contender withdraw from the race.

Similarly, Hon Ali Isah (PDP-Gombe State) has been selected as the Minority Whip.

The opposition caucus are expected to submit list of their nominees for Principal officers to Speaker, Hon Tajudeen Abbas.
