Bolarinwa Will Be Governor For All – Moro LG APC Caucus

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus in Moro local government, Kwara North Senatorial district on Wednesday backed the candidacy of Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa for Kwara 2027 governorship election.

The endorsement was announced during a stakeholders’ meeting held at the NEF Headquarters Hall in Shao.

The gathering brought together party leaders, grassroots mobilisers, and loyalists from 17 wards in Moro local government area.

Speaking at the event, the convener, Dr. Bolaji Afolabi reaffirmed the caucus’ unwavering support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing what he described as bold and reform-driven leadership since assuming office.

According to him, the administration has undertaken critical policy decisions aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy and governance structure.

Dr Afolabi highlighted key reforms such as the removal of fuel subsidy, exchange rate unification, renewed investments in infrastructure spanning roads, rail and energy, as well as the introduction of a student loan scheme to expand access to higher education.

on Kwara governorship race, the caucus described Bolarinwa as a capable and visionary leader with the political experience required to drive sustainable development in Kwara, noting that his ambition is enjoying grassroots appeal and acceptability among members.

The group also called for Moro Local Government Area to produce the next member of the House of Representatives in the forthcoming elections, urging party stakeholders to rally behind the position.

The caucus emphasized the importance of early consensus-building, noting that unity among party members and support groups would be critical to the APC’s success in the 2027 general elections.
