Buhari Meets Lawan, Omo-Agege, Urges Them To Prioritize National Interest

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and his deputy, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege met President Muhammadu Buhari after their election on Tuesday.

They were received by the President at the State House, Abuja in company of some APC stalwarts.

Buhari urged them to always prioritize national interest above personal agenda in order to move the county forward.

He commended new senators for electing best hands as their leader.

Earlier, Senator Ahmad Lawan thanked President Buhari for supporting them to emerge as leader of 9th National Assembly.
