Contempt of Court: Kwara Speaker, Yakubu Danladi On His Way To Prison
The Court of Appeal sitting in Ilorin has ordered Kwara State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Yakubu Danladi to appear in Court on Thursday February 11, 2021 to face contempt of court charges.
The Appeal Court summoned Kwara Assembly Speaker for disobeying its orders on swearing-in of PDP Member-elect, Hon Abdulraheem Jimoh Agboola.
Recall that the court in November declared Jimoh Agboola as winner of Ilorin South State Constituency House of Assembly election held on March 9, 2019.
The Court Registrar in a notice of summon issued on Tuesday to apply to the court for disobeying the orders of July 29, 2020.
