Eid-el-Kabir: Kwara DPP Calls For Sober Reflection, Selfless Service
The Democratic People’s Party, DPP, Kwara state chapter, has felicitated with Muslim faithful and the people of Kwara state as we celebrate this year’s eid-el-kabir.
The state chairman of DPP, Prophet Emmanuel Marxwell Koyenin, in a Salah message said the celebration is for all Nigerians, “irrespective of their religion as we endeavour to leave together harmoniously in disparity.”
DPP said the people must also endeavour to keep faith with the lessons of Eid celebration as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
This, Koyenin said “includes piety, love, peace, charity and selfless service to humanity.”
He however urged the people to use this period, “to reflect on the shaky fortunes of the nation, Nigeria, pray for its redemption and vow to contribute our individual sacrifice to the course.”
