Kwara 2027: Bolarinwa Visits Governor Abdulrazaq As APC Stakeholders Back His Candidacy

Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State, Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa on Monday visited Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to intimate him about his Kwara 2027 governorship bid.

Bolarinwa met Governor Abdulrazaq at Ahmadu Bello Government House, Ilorin on Monday evening, just few hours to his official declaration for governorship on APC platform.

The former  APC Chairman is scheduled to declare for Kwara 2027 at M & M Event Centre, Ilorin

Recall that Bolarinwa will submitting his letter of intent to Kwara APC leadership on April 17, 2027 described himself as the right man to takeover from Abdulrazaq.

FactualTimes earlier reported that the Director General of National Orientation Agency, Mallam Lanre-Issa Onilu stepped from the governorship race and implored other Aspirants to support Bolarinwa.

Apart from that, APC Stakeholders across the three Senatorial districts have rallied support for his candidacy.

Bolarinwa previously served as a Councillor, Council Chairman, House of Representatives Member and the Chairman Governing Board of National Broadcasting Commission.  He holds PhD in International Relations. He hails from Agbeku in Ifelodun local government of Kwara State.
