The All Progressives Congress (APC) has hinted on the plan to punish lawmakers who go against Party’s position on 10th National Assembly leadership.
The Kwara State chapter of the party gave this hint on Friday after reviewing action of Hon Ismail Tijani who nominated Hon Idris Wase for House of Representatives Speaker on Tuesday.
Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC leadership endorsed Senator Godswill Akpabio and Hon Tajudeen Abbas for Senate President and Speaker respectively.

However, the former Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Hon Idris Wase and Hon Jaji contested against APC preferred candidate, Tajudeen Abbas.
To this end, kwara APC during emergency meeting held at the party secretariat, Ilorin on Thursday expressed concern over Hon Tijani Ismail’s contrary stand on the Speakership of House of Representatives.
The meeting was attended by the Local Government Party chairmen and the state executive members of the party. In attendance was the State Legal adviser who had earlier been on suspension.
The Communique signed by State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Tajudeen Aro endorsed all actions taken on issues of National concerns particularly on the leadership of the National Assembly by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
“The meeting reiterated the need for a united kwara under under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and therefore resolved to invite Hon Tijani for discussions before the 23rd of june.” Tajudeen Aro stated.
