NASS Leadership: APC Stalwart Asks Fagbemi To Resign, Demands Recall of Ismail Tijani
Re-Communique Issue at the End of an Emergency Meeting of Kwara APC.
1. The Kwara State APC leadership under our amiable and indefatigable leader, Mal. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who also doubles as Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum was brought into irredeemable disgrace and national Embarrassment, by the unethical product of Kwara State Chairman and his cronies’ product, Hon. Ismail Tijani who was desperately made as Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun APC Federal Constituency Candidate.
2. It is on record that Tijani boastful on TNT radio around February 2022 that he gave a car gift to The APC Kwara State Chairman and his Deputy. According to Hon. Tijani, monies that no one within the state were ever received by the APC leadership
3. In January 2021 at Ilemona, Oyun LGA headquarters, when AA leadership galvanised support for the Governor, Hon. Tijani reinstated in the mist of the crowd that his loyalty to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is second to none, and the he (Tijani) shall always be ready to demonstrate such. In the course of that, he said, if the Governor ask him to resign from the House of Representatives at the National Assembly, he would resign without asking any question. But surprisingly, when the same House of Representatives ticket of Ifelodun Offa Oyun was given to another person, Tijani started war against the Governor by destroying Governor through out the length and breadth of APC Leadership both in Kwara and Abuja. It is not a speculation to many when he went around in conjunction with former Deputy Speaker of the House and the Speaker (now, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) from one Governor to another, based on the advice and schemes of both the APC Kwara State Chairman and a former Commissioner from Irepodun local Govt who deliberately worked behind the scene to trapped, set up and perpetrated the devilish plan against the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on how to secure the ticket back. The Chairman and the Oro politician, misled the Governor, because of the huge financial gains and materials benefits which they received from Hon. Ismaila Tijani. Despite the fact that the duo knew that Tijani’s Constituents, immediate Communities and Traditional rulers had totally rejected him.
4. When the APC lost Odo Ogun State constituency, only PDP seat in Oyun through dirty actions of Tijani and his cronies. G 22, Many people reported to APC state leadership, but because they were enjoying Tijani’s larges, they could not react.
5. When the critical stakeholders in Oyun,Offa and Ifelodun Include traditional rulers were narrating their experiences with Tijani, the former Commissioner from Oro, the State Chairman, some APC Excos and few members of Oyun/ Offa/ Ifelodun who by now should have buried their heads in shame, played played politics with genuine facts which were brought forward severally.
6. It is very important for the APC leadership to be rebranded so that members of public would have confidence and trust in the party. Those who are using their closeness with His Excellency to claim monies from Aspirants from Ifelodun, Isin, Irepodun Ekiti, to Kwara central and by far extended to LGAs in Kwara north, like the Oro born Politician and Saw Miller in Omu-aran should be weary of by His Excellency, in order to safe both image of Governor AbdulRazaq’s administration and future of the party in Kwara State.
7. We therefore, call for the party leadership to resign, while the RECALL OF HON. ISMAIL TIJANI, should begin by his constituents without delay.
